Scarlett first starting experimenting with embroidery when she was 15 years old, starting with simple line drawings using black thread and soon taught herself how to blend colours together using thicker embroidery threads. Her first ever finished embroidery was the image of the boy’s face below (Finlay).

Scarlett has only started experimenting with embroidered backgrounds this year (2024) and aims to continue stitching larger and larger tapestries.
